Flex-On was developed after it was noted that riders' own anatomy was often overlooked while much focus was placed on the horse's legs and skeleton. The combination of technology and ideas led to Flex-On.
The wide footplate is available in three different models with varying inclinations depending on preference. (This item has the Inclined with a single slope plate.)
In addition, there are two different grip plates to choose from for the two different footplate inclinations. Either with the standard grip, which is ribbed and provides good traction, or with Ultra Grip, which has small metal spikes that provide incredible grip regardless of weather. (This item has the Inclined Ultra-Grip plate.)
The footplate rests on two shock absorbers that reduce the impact on the joints during all riding, but especially in jumping and eventing. These are available in 14 different colors and are selected in the product's color options. Safe-On is a safety stirrup that releases in the event of a fall. The outer side then opens and releases the foot under strong pressure.
